My Happy Meal in a Happy Bowl

Do you ever wonder what I do with the food I cook and post on the blog? Of course, obviously I eat the dishes.

After all the photos are taken and the mountains of pots and pans are washed, I make myself a happy bowl.

This was from last weekend.

Tempeh. Yum!

Fried kangkung. Not worthy of a post. Poor vege.

Sambal potatoes. A dollop of Sambal Totok. No rice required.

That's my happy weekend bowl. My stomach was very happy that evening.

  1. Ya, we're not so into kangkong these days or at least, we'd go for the leaves, get rid of all the stalks. Sweet potato leaves would be a nice substitute.

    1. I happen to love kangkong. Just stir fry with garlic and salt good enough for me. And I make sure not to order at the restaurant because so expensive hah..hah..

  3. Oh, I dive straight in after taking photos...eat it while it's still hot (washing can wait later). And since I usually cook only one dish for my blog, there's no assembling to be done...haha! ;D

  7. Aiyor! When I see kangkung, I am not so happy la. This vegetable often caused me indigestion and I always screamed when I saw how expensive some restaurants charged for this dish. The other food in your bowl looks happy to me.
